UX Generalist | UX Visual Interaction Designer
Position: UX generalist for full time position or contractor

You:
  • Thrive on challenges and problem solving
  • You’re passionate about design, curious and always learning
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset (likely from experience at a startup)
  • Can apply yourself in many situations and have mastered at least one skill in your trade
  • Have at least 5 yrs of experience in a variety of positions
  • Can plan and run a usability test from planning to final report (and use a number of other usability methods)
  • Can sketch, wireframe and prototype from low to high fidelity regardless of the tool
  • Have experience performing a variety of design research methods to understand users, contexts, frameworks, requirements, feelings, attitudes, expectations and behaviors
  • Masters degree in HCI, Human Factors, Experimental Psychology or Design or demonstrable experience of the knowledge, skills and abilities these types of degrees provide. We don’t care where/how you got it as long as you’ve got it
You - Nice to have:
  • Experience in service design
  • Experience in marketing, business, selling, operations
  • Experience working with HTML 5/CSS 3
  • Experience with graphic design or design principles and the ability to apply them

You:

  • Can apply yourself in many situations
  • Have at least 3 yrs. of experience
  • Have worked primarily on digital experiences (web & mobile)
  • Master of Adobe creative suite
  • Have an instinctual and intuitive resource for interaction design
  • Degree (BFA/MFA) or equivalent amount of experience in visual interaction
  • design/graphic design
  • Awesome at sketching creative ideas/solutions to interaction design problems
  • Self-motivated problem solver that can work in an un-structured environment
You – Nice to have:
  • Experience working with marketing, business, operations and a diverse set of people
  • Knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of HTML 5/CSS 3 and mobile app
